Disposal of special waste is entrusted to authorized companies that are responsible for its pickup, transportation and disposal as required by current regulations.

It makes an important contribution to environmental protection by decreasing the consumption of electricity supplied by utilities through the production of energy from renewable or alternative sources, wind/sun. In fact, Lewer already has a mini-wind power plant and a photovoltaic power plant in operation that can make it self-sufficient.
